  • As an award-winning impact communications strategist and certified coach and facilitator, Mica Crouse founded Big Mountain Impact to help organizations and leaders define not just what they stand for, but how they live out their purpose. 

    With two decades of public and private sector experience and an MBA from Columbia Business School, she partners with organizations to foster intentional leaders, cohesive teams and authentic communication that builds trust, credibility and lasting impact.

    Throughout her career working to address critical issues—from climate and health to equity and opportunity—Mica has crafted meaningful communication strategies, facilitated transformative experiences and uplifted teams and leaders through professional coaching, trainings and speaking engagements.

Farrell Calabrese
Founder ✦ FMC Impact

  • As the founder of FMC Impact, Farrell Calabrese, partners with organizations and individuals to align purpose with action.

    A seasoned sustainability and communications professional with over 20 years of experience, Farrell specializes in helping brands and leaders create values-driven strategies that inspire impact.

    Drawing on expertise in corporate sustainability, leadership coaching, and integrated communications, Farrell translates big-picture goals into actionable initiatives.

    With certifications in Sustainability Leadership from Harvard’s T.H. Chan School of Public Health; Department of Environmental Health, Strategic Foresight, and Creative Direction from VCU, she works with purpose-driven organizations to build trust, spark curiosity, and foster meaningful connection.

    Currently, Farrell serves as a leader on the Industrial Design Society of America’s (IDSA) Circular Design Council, is the fractional marketing lead for the University of Central Florida’s (UCF) Global Division, and is a consultant for qb. consulting.

OUR STORY

REBOOT grew out of a lived experience.

After years leading brands, teams and sustainability initiatives inside complex corporate systems, Farrell Calabrese and Mica Crouse saw a familiar pattern: leaders stepping into their roles driven by purpose, only to have that clarity eroded by organizational complexity, constant pressure and the pace of modern work. Over time, a quiet disconnect develops that drains energy and, left unaddressed, leads to burnout.

What began as a simple pre-conference retreat for female impact leaders – designed to get outside, slow down, and be in honest community – quickly revealed a deeper need. Leaders were hungry for space to realign who they are with how they lead.

Today, REBOOT has expanded beyond individuals into team experiences and sponsored gatherings, while staying rooted in the same purpose: to inspire leadership that begins within.

We believe healthy, grounded individuals build healthier systems and that leadership should be human, regenerative and values-led.

REBOOT is guided by what we value most: authenticity, connection, community and meaningful work.

And it will continue to grow alongside the leaders who show up ready to lead differently.
